About the service · Updated October 8, 2026

Terms of use

Dizzy helps bands privately share rehearsal recordings, mark takes and discuss musical moments. These terms describe use of the current friends-testing service.

Your account and band access

Use your own Google account and protect access to it. Invitations must be accepted with the invited identity. Band owners manage membership and roles; an invitation or copied link does not itself grant access. Respect the permissions assigned to you and do not share your account or bypass access controls.

Your recordings and other content

You retain your rights in the recordings and other content you contribute. Upload only material you have the right and permission to share with your band, including permission from people recorded when needed. You allow Dizzy and its service providers to store, process and deliver that content to provide the app's features; uploading does not transfer ownership.

Agree with bandmates about copying or sharing recordings outside the band. Private access controls cannot prevent an authorized listener from retaining a copy. Keep your own originals: Dizzy is not your only backup.

Acceptable use

Do not upload unlawful content, infringe others' rights, harass people, expose information without permission, distribute malicious files or interfere with the service. Do not attempt to access another band, another person's account or backend credentials. Access may be restricted when necessary to address abuse or protect the service; contact support if you believe access was removed in error.

Friends testing and service limits

The service is still being tested with friends. Features may change, fail or be unavailable, and we do not promise uninterrupted availability or loss-free storage. Published backup and recovery limits apply: database backups do not copy audio, permanent deletion can make audio unrecoverable, and complete recovery of every app domain is not proven. Removing access or deleting content cannot recall downloads or buffered audio held by others.

The public website does not offer a public paid checkout. Any separately enabled payment flow must show its own price and conditions before you commit; these terms do not authorize a charge or promise future billing features. Voice calls, shared listening and other proposed features are not part of the current service merely because they appear in planning.

Nothing in these terms removes rights that applicable law does not allow to be waived. Important changes to these terms will be reflected on this page and communicated as appropriate.
